Slides

@texuli/slides turns a validated deck of content blocks into a presentation: a keyboard-driven stage with reveal steps, slot masters, a presenter view and fullscreen, plus print and PPTX export and starter templates. The package is private and in development; it is not published to npm.

Try the deck

A live DeckStage. Click a slide, then use the keyboard. It follows this site's light or dark mode, and slide and reveal motion cuts when you prefer reduced motion.

  • Right or Space: reveal the next step, then the next slide
  • Left: hide the newest step, then the previous slide
  • P: presenter view with speaker notes and step progress
  • O: overview of slide titles
  • F: fullscreen (or the whole window, with a note, when the browser has no fullscreen)
  • Escape: close the overview, fullscreen, then the presenter view

What ships

  • A deck model with closed vocabularies, validation that never throws, and agent decks checked by validateDeckDraft.
  • Reveal steps on blocks, list items and code highlights.
  • Slot masters: top-level dividers split blocks into a master's named slots.
  • A presenter view, and a presenter screen in a second window of the same browser, linked over BroadcastChannel with no server.
  • Fullscreen with a visible window-filling fallback.
  • Print to PDF through the browser, and a local PPTX export of text, bullets and notes.

Planned

  • A presenter screen on another device.
  • A next-slide thumbnail and a wall clock in the presenter view.
  • A tool-side PDF exporter and deck video.
